Every month I invest some money in stocks. Not a lot, but I think it is kind of fun to pick them and watch the fluctuations. My current holdings include:
- The S&P 500
- Time Warner (we used to have Time Warner cable at home before Uverse)
- Time Warner Cable Inc Com (spinoff from my Time Warner stock)
- Sprint Nextel (my cell phone provider)
- Coca Cola
- Zumiez (probably should have sold this at one point, but now I have to hold out for another upswing)
- Activision Blizzard Inc (I think this one will perform well - company has no debt and lots of geeks who will pay them $15 monthly to play a game... I used to be one of those geeks.)
Nothing really exciting, but I still think it's neat to say I own some companies (at least partially). :)
