So I thought married life would be less busy... you know, no more wedding planning and all that. Silly me, life never slows down, it just gets a little more or less busy! So what have we been up to? Well after the 2 weeks in Mexico it was back to work and a lot of catching up for me. Then there was all those wedding thank-you's, some birthday parties, a baptism, some baby showers, some more thank-you's, oh and the name change... wow, was that lot of work! Go to city hall, get official copy of marriage certificate, social security office to apply for new card, DMV for a new license, all my work stuff (email, voice mail, log-ins, health and dental insurance, payroll service, etc, etc) voter registration, passport, bank/credit union, IRA's, credit cards... and I'm sure something else that I haven't even run across yet! So yep, we've been a little busy.
Can you believe we want to add a kid (or 2) to this craziness? We are the craziness really, not our schedules or to-do lists. :) Most of our family and friends know we are planning to begin trying in December and are hoping for a September 2010 baby. So I have already worked out my schedule and have days marked on the calendar that will be "do not disturb the couple" days. ;-)
