22 weeks down, 18 to go!?

OMG really, that's it?? 18 weeks?? Where did the time go, how did it go so fast? It feels like just yesterday I was dying to tell everyone we were pregnant and now we are past the halfway mark! I am officially starting to panic about being ready... 18 weeks, really?? Hang on a sec... ok, yea, had to check the calendar, still 18 weeks... ARG!! (OK so that was more pirate than stressing out mom-to-be, but you get the point!) :)

So, 18 short weeks to plow through a (most-likely way too ambitious and over-the-top) to-do list, it doesn't seem like near enough time... and yet it's 18 long weeks until we get to meet this little wondrous person... who at this moment is kicking me telling me to go eat lunch. :) Speaking of which, I feel like I am eating constantly... like all the time... but I've been good about it. I am like a walking fruit bowl most days... picture the guy in the trench with all the fake Rolex watches... ok, now picture me in that trench with apples, oranges, pears, grapes... oh yes, I am strange. :) But if you want a tasty piece of fruit to snack on, I can definitely hook you up... if I haven't eaten it all yet. :)

Which reminds me, Jeff finished painting the nursery last night. :) The color is sweet corn and it is very yellow... I like it. See you don't need to know boy/girl to plan for a baby - so there! :-P

OK, so the to-do list for this week includes getting a list of daycares together to visit, getting a quote for the roof that we need, and figuring out the carpet situation. And I am going to try to get some scrapbooking done while I am out of town for work Wednesday and Thursday night.

Baby can hear this week, which is so cool. Grammy got baby "Oh Baby, the Places You'll Go" book and Daddy has read it to baby. And I've been chatting baby up in the car in the mornings. It's neat to think they can hear us and are starting to recognize who we are... does this mean we have to start acting normal now? :)
