We have officially graduated from our childbirth class... what a relief! :) We did the weekender class which was 3 hours last night and then another 7 hours today.
I can't decide if the class made me more or less nervous... I think a little of both... I feel better and more prepared now that I know what to expect during labor and delivery and after, but I also feel more nervous about getting through it all now that I know what to expect! I am very glad we went though, it certainly helps to know some techniques to help aid in labor and we even got some info on more pain options available (there is more than just all natural and epidural - who knew?!) - which I am happy about, since we may decide not to do epidural after all, but we'll see. :)
My hormones must be escalating though... every birth video we watched got me all teary-eyed and weepy. And then as we toured the maternity ward at the hospital, I again got a little teary-eyed when a brand new mom and baby were wheeled past us. Poor Jeff, he may have his hands full with me! :)
