Diapers

Well the Target brand diapers have passed their first test with flying colors! Or I should say with a lack of exploding pooh. :) It seems that every time we put Lena in her bouncy chair, she makes a really messy diaper. All that bouncing must get things moving. Well because of this and that fact that Luvs diapers are very disappointing (leak guard my butt!), we have had to wash the seat of the bouncy chair 3 or 4 times now - yes, a pooh-filled bouncy chair is not fun or sanitary! Well mom is sick of continually washing this darn thing so I was getting afraid to put her in it even though she liked it and it gave me time to eat/shower/pee/clean/all of the above. Well I re-assembled the chair again today (after another washing), put her in a Target diaper and sat down to have some breakfast. Sure enough, I smell a stink rising from her after about 5 minutes or so. Fearing the worst, I lift her out of the chair and lo and behold.... a dirty diaper for sure, but a clean onesie and a clean chair!! And this was one very dirty diaper, definitely the same amount of mess that the Luvs just can't seem to handle. I am ecstatic! Now, what to do with the rest of these stupid Luvs diapers... I have been using them and hoping that the urge to pooh doesn't strike her as she is wearing one... we'll see if my luck can outlast the supply of these crappy diapers. Wish me luck!! :)
