Baby Update

I am terrible about sitting down and writing in an actual journal, but pregnancy is so new and exciting that I don't want to forget anything!

It's been a fun week of baby stuff. :) On April 2nd, Jeff and I were watching a movie on the couch and the little one was really moving and kicking. The first time I put Jeff's hand on my belly, baby did not cooperate and was being stubborn (just like mommy :)), but the 2nd time, baby gave daddy a couple of good kicks. So Jeff finally got to feel our little guy/gal. :)

Then on Easter Sunday as we were lying in bed, I look down at my belly and could have sworn that the alien was going to pop right out! I poked Jeff and pointed and said "that isn't me". :) It was so weird to see my belly move like that - this little one is a squirmer. S/he saying hi as I write this, must know I am talking about her/him. :)

It's still so amazing to look down and know that there is a life growing inside me... I just can't get over it some days... I am so in love already with little baby.

On the home front, we finally have carpet picked to be installed in the baby room and the office room. And I spent a few hours last night cleaning out the office closet and computer desk area. Hopefully by the end of the week I can get the nursery closet cleaned out as well and that will be 3 things off the to do list!
