The paper of memory lane

I spent at least 3 hours on Sunday going through and shredding papers from 1999-2004... who knew I had accumulated so much paper! Old statements from banks, credit cards, cell phones, etc. It was kind of an interesting trip down memory lane...

- Got my first cell phone in 1999 with a 30 peak minutes plan for $19.95 a month.
- Moved a couple of times: from a shared apt to home (w/mom) in 1999 and then into my first "by-myself" apt in 2001.
- Graduated college in December 2000 and got my first career job.
- Passed the CPA in November 2001 (after paying about $2,500 in review course and material costs).
- Lots of receipts from college textbooks, dang those things were expensive!
- But all the financial aid statements for student loans was worse! :)

In the end, it was about 3 bags full of shredded stuff... amazing the things we hang onto sometimes. :)
