Getting ready

If you want to get stuff done around the house, have a baby... I am not kidding, what a motivator to get crap done! So far we have painted the nursery, got new carpeting in the 2 small bedrooms, finally hung up our new outdoor lights, reorganized the pantry, reorganized the computer desk area and a closet, cleaned out a whole lotta crap (now sitting in the rummage/donate zone in the basement.. I would say pile, but really it has gone past the pile stage... it is a full blown wall full of crap...), and more. Today Jeff is working on trimming the doors down so they fit with the new carpet that was installed and I am working on ordering new door knobs (I am sick of the builder grade shiny brass ones... ick!). Tomorrow is baby shower planning stuff with my mom, step-mom, MIL, and SIL. And also hopefully the day I finish the wedding photo work so I can cross that off the list too. Now that May is finally here, work will start to slow down and I should be able to get lots of my crafting to-do's done as well... I figured if I get used to being busy, busy now, baby busy will be a breeze! Right? :)
